In the morning we continue to explore the museum and find that something has cleaned the floor of the kitchen area. We are able to gather a few metal utensils and then check on the roof garden, which has totally gone to wild. There's a number of useful plants but to access them would require a hacking job. We manage to gather a few fruits for the Human. In the spotlight room we find that images are being displayed. Kohana says that some of the images represent paisleys, which could have been parasites. There's some voiceovers in the images should someone step into the light.

The next room is Kids and Kinetics. Lots of experiments in theory and other. Most of it is virtual and unable to be taken along. Another exhibit is the "Your Modern World" which details common tech of the Humans. Kohana is able to sync is iSlate to the displays, but they are mostly guides & nothing that is actually practical. The next room is "Calories" and has the display of a digestive system from a flayed human. This appears to be related to how the humans processed food. A balanced diet is important to them which is why they do not only eat meat.

We descend into the basement which is mostly dark. This is the Science of Color. As we step forward, there's a low dark red light which is Infra-Red, which we can see in but the humans could not. Each section is lit by a respective light of the spectrum, but not able to see into Ultraviolet. At the end are stairs up and a hidden door under the stairs which requires a key or badge to open. Lucan shorts out the keyreader and the door pops open to reveal a stairways down. He does the same with the next one, leading to a central corridor with doors on either side. The doors have markings and numbers next to them. One is Security and the other Maintenance. The Security office is simple with a bank of monitors & lockers. There are a few desks with walkie-talkies in a charger. We find 12 maglight flashlights which act as a light spell in a blast not a burst. Kohana finds two blue colored passcards. Using Make Whole, he is able to create three useful ones.

Maintenance room is similar to Security with lockers and cables. There's a tool belt that should be very useful for carrying items.Next two rooms are Operations and IT, but is not a surgery or anything related to medicine. it appears that the humans were into frivolous details and pointless actions. The IT room is cold and we can now see where the thumping is emanating, coming for a big machine that is generating the cold air. The room is full of spirit boxes that appears to be doing nothing with no active screens. A search of the cabinets reveals more slates, hard drives, cables, and other stuff. Kohana and I have a small discussion on the relevance of the current course of action and that it does not help us immediately. We move on to continue our search.

We find Accounting and the Academic offices. The Academic office is twice as big through it's not a cube farm. I find a book on Crowd Control & Observation. There's the Curator's office and a search finds two bottles of booze but no safes. The lock to the Accounting is fused by Lucan, requiring another of Kohana's knock spell to open. A large safe requires a knock as well, but there's nothing but paper and coins. I take some of each to show the sages. Next room is Guest Relations with small cubes for interrogating visitors. The doors do not open from the inside.

Down one corridor we come across another door which leads downward. There's a hum coming from the depths. At the bottom is a Power Plant door which opens into a catwalk that in 10' over large cylinders that are generating the humming. There are 8 of the generators with a column in the middle, appears to be machinery that interfaces w/ the generators. More human stuff with little that is useful to the People immediately.

The next room is about Electricity and You. We trip the arc-light that nearly blinds us, but very useful. A good way to blind the enemy. Lots of nervous system examples. Next floor is Einstein's Relative's -- We have no idea or point of reference. I make a reference note on the Arc-Light and then take the long way back to the middle hall.

As we leave the building, there is an ambush. We hear a soft chittering and from the trees emerge spiders of various sizes, including a HUGE one. Lucan fells two in quick order while Inyan charges the large one, slamming into the creature with large force. One of the large ones spits and poisons me, forcing the consumption of a vial of anti-venom. We dispatch them with ease with the only wound being mine. Kohana summons ghostly spectral wolves that allow us to fly. Again, we take additional risks that make me nervous. As I predicted, we spot a group of harpies and hope to dodge them before we are spotted. This appears to work though I hear a low vibrating call that could be birdsong but most likely they have spotted us & sending along a warning.

As we head down market, there's a large net strung across the street. We hold up at the net, seeing a dozen harpies on either side of the net and the largest harpy we have seen flies up and perches on the net, letting going a terrible shriek.
