DnD:Sadian

Sadian is the last of three cubs born to a retired adventuring couple. Being the only male of the litter, it was decided to train him in the ways of the Bard, in order to form a closer alliance to the Stormwind clan. Sadian was sent to live with an uncle shortly after his 24th season, learning to commune with the ways of the Song & The Word. Much of his time was spent away from the clan, visiting the other clans to hear their tales and to diversify this talents. It was during one of these nighttime sessions, that the Revel was attacked by rats from the mainland. One of the larger ones bit Sadian on the arm, making him ill for almost a moon. The fur never grew back correctly around the wound, leaving a bare patch of skin on his lower left arm.

Three seasons ago his uncle died, leaving him as the entertainer for the Sagecrest Clan. Still considered an apprentice, Sadian attends the Revels, listening and learning all he can, finding only a modicum of respect due to his young age. Burdened with the responsibility of both caring for his small clan and living up to the life of an adventurer, Sadian embraces the future with enthusiasm and confidence. Both will be tested as the group is being sent to the mainland.

Sadian is well-versed in healing and aiding the group as needed. He is cheerful and intensely confident about his abilities to see the group through any trouble encountered. In his mind, there can be no failure, nor obstacle that cannot be overcome with the group working together. Should the group [or him personally] fail in their task, his mood will most definitely darken and lead to a funk that could last for weeks. Sadian is not overly temperamental, but eager and confident in both his abilities and his companions. It is only in combat that Sadian lets go and unleashes the full force of his training, causing a people to wonder just how much rage is bottled up inside him.

He is very close to his clan, considering them to be the most important thing in his life. The Lynx tribe comes next, followed by the People as a whole. When not adventuring, training, or attending to chores, Saidan can be found in the company of a female Lynx named Shurl Greencoat. He is one of four suitors for the young Warden’s affections. While they belong to separate societies and callings, Sadian is entranced by her fierce nature. This has not set well with the Clan, as they wish him to seek out the shy Warlock Ovide Stormwind [Civette's niece] as a potential mate. Sadian has done his best to steer clear of their wishes, but he does admit that Ovide has many good qualities.

Sadain is small for being a Lynx, barely hitting 5’6” and weighing around 145 lbs. His frame is slight and wiry, his strength lies in a keen mind, quick wit, and caustic tongue. His fur is a dark patterning and well groomed. Sadian wears a suit of hide armor, well-kept despite being handed down from his uncle and carries a short sword at his hip. Slung on his back, within easy reach, is a set of three drums, a horn, and rattles that can be attached to his hands and feet. Wrapped into a crude folio are musical notations and song lyrics. He guards this with a ferocity akin to one of the Badger.
