From RainGamersWiki
Game being designed by Wyn that he hopes to get a summoner/spirit talker & carpenter to work on Plan to have a willing spirit bound to the game by the spirit binder with the instructions of how game play works
*Game play is a little like go
*Intent is to capture the grid locations using your will to push the spirit to
light them your color
*you get two actions per turn
*you capture a location by marking a location by either touch or thought
this becomes a logrus point
*the spirit will mark your point on the board for only you to see
if you are playing an advance version
*the spirit will also light any square not already lit by an
opponent to your color up to two squares away
*you may only choose Logrus points either within your influence
or one square beyond your influence if it is not already controlled
by your opponent
*for each logrus point above 2 that you create it's minus one to your will rolls for control
*to extend your influence you make will tests against your opponent
*but the further away (squares) you are the less will you can bring to bear
*if you have two Logrus points influencing the same area the secondary(further away point of influence will give you a bonus to your rolls for control +1 2 squares away +2 if 1 square away
*handicaps can be set up such as one person can get more logrus points before he begins to have negative will effects
*to start the game each person places there fingers on the raised portion declare the name they are using, what color and if they are handicapped... either negative or positively.
*once you have influence 6 or more deep you can lock the stuff behind freeing up your logrus points to be placed elsewhere *locking needs to have a full 5 squares of influence around them and takes one of you moves to do and is started from one square then expanding out one square in all directions on the next move used and so on and so forth
it is hoped that this could possibly be sold to wizards as a trainer for will and a game of course perhaps even to the nobility if it catches on.
