My Dearest Narasha,
I hope this letter finds you well. I remember with fondness our evening together, and I hope fervently that you are as interested as I in a repeat assignation. I hope you will deign to reply to this letter with your willingness to meet.
I understand your status as a guest of Castle Shard, and I do hope that your relations with Lord Zavere don't sour any opinion you may have with me. My professional relationships are, as it were, distinct from any personal interests I might have -- and I would say that my personal interests in you are, shall we say, significant.
I look forward to any contact you may wish to have. You may, of course, always send word to me at the Ghostly Minstrel.
My Heart Longs,
Otto

Kind Iltumar,
I hope this letter finds you well. It was exceptionally enjoyable to spend our evening drinking together, and I do hope that you enjoyed it as much as I.
I was hoping that we could repeat the evening; call on my friends and I at your convenience at the Ghostly Minstrel.
With much affection and respect,
Capt. Liebnitz, Hydra Company

Dearest Mother,
It has been several months since I decided to seek my fortune in a more cordial location than the environs of Gharon, and I've managed to find a secure place, and many friends, in the great city of Ptolus. I have had great success in meeting many upstanding merchants and members of the business community, and have established myself as a member in good standing of the merchants here, providing discreet services to the more upper-class members of the populace, much like father's work with the nobles in Gharon (though, admittedly, it doesn't pay quite as well).
I realize that you and father have a life and work there in Gharon, but if any of my brothers (or sisters!) are interested, I'm sure I could find a place for them in my shop here, apprenticed or associated to one of my friends -- we have an arcane specialist, a cleric, a metalworker and lock specialist, as well as contacts in the larger community.
All my love to you, and of course pass on my best wishes to father.
Your Son,
Gerry

My Lord,
In regards to the Elf you have tasked us with investigating, we are quite close to a resolution favourable to your House and Liking.
We hope for a speedy resolution to the issue quite shortly.
Your patience is greatly appreciated in this matter.
Yours to Command,
von Liebnitz, Hydra Company

My Lord,
Our investigation of the Elf who troubles you continues; we work to make sure he troubles you no more. We do hope that Lord Abbercombe is recovering nicely. Please pass on to him that we are at his service in anything he may desire or require. It is our great pleasure to be allies of the great Lords and Ladies of Castle Shard. Please feel free to pass on our card to any of your associates you feel might request or require our services.
We look forward to continued association with you. I do hope you don't take offense when I say that I hope you and your house will not need our services in the near future, but we stand ready to provide you with anything you may need, large or small.
Yours to Command,
von Liebnitz, Hydra Company

My dearest Narasha,
The requirements of civility must of course take precedence to the wants of the spirit, but rest assured that your continued absence is much on my mind. Your lips may speak my name, but better they press themselves to mine, and mine to yours.
Your beauty, your exotic allure, is what brought me to you. But I covet so much more than your body. I want to possess the power of your eyes, the way they see form and beauty that isn't even there yet and draw it up out of nothing into the solid world. I want to own the honor of your heart, the touch of your hand, the wisp of your voice in the night. You are a flame, my dearest, burning brightly, and I wish only to be your fuel, and in the consummation, see you burn bright as the sun.
Know always that I am at your call, should the need for my limited services arise.
As always, Yours to Command,
Otto

Kind Iltumar,
As always it shall be a pleasure to share your company; come and find me any night at the Ghostly Minstrel, and rest assured that a place for you at my table is always open.
Indeed, feel free to bring your friends, as well, that we may discuss what business they may pursue, and what aid I may offer to you.
I look forward always to a chance to meet and make new friends.

Dearest Mother,
It is good to hear that you and father are doing well. Per your request, I am being extra-careful in my dealings, though recently that has been mostly cleaning and buying furniture -- we are setting up a new office, and it's been my job as head of the group to make sure the face we're presenting is the correct one. The ne'erdowells in the recent history have mostly been real estate agents, as I'm sure you and father can remember.
Congratulations are due of course to Heinrich; it's good to hear that his work with Father has panned out and things go well with the shops. Just think, mother, the name could soon be a franchise! I'm sure Father is working just as hard as always. Do tell him that the Shoal Elves are careful about propriety -- I'm sure he knows, but I would suggest a small, personal gift for the master guildsman he's working with.
I'll send a note to Elise as well, but please suggest to her that I could use any help she'd want to give here in Ptolus. Our work can always use another clever and resourceful face.
You and Father are of course always welcome to visit -- even just to shop around for suppliers or customers here. I've got plenty of room for vistors, and many friends in various parts of the community.
Your Son,
Gerry

Dear Sister,
Your little brother is writing to fulfill the promise I made when you loaned me the gold crown to get out of town -- time for payback! Enclosed please find 10 gold crowns, yours to spend as you see fit. Thank you again for the loan.
However...
...I have an idea for the use of those crowns, and a possibility of an even greater return on your investment.
I have here in the city of Ptolus a venture that's earned significant returns on my personal investment: one of the partners in my little band has earned over 3000 gold crowns in just the first month in the company. While I can't promise that sort of return for you, I'm willing to at least split some of my winnings with you, provided you come and help out.
Your fast-talking and fast wit would stand us in good stead, at least as much as your copperplate handwriting.
Ten crowns should be plenty to get you here to Ptolus in good style with some left over for carousing once you get here. And even if you didn't want to work with us, I'll stand you a drink and a bed when you arrive.
However it plays out, I'm grateful for the chance to find my little corner of the world.
Your brother,
Otto (Yes, it's a stage name -- don't forget when you get here!)
